Trade Deadline 2020

We have about a month left until the trade deadline and I expect to see a lot of movement.

With no overwhelming favourite anymore, teams will feel confident about their chances of winning a chip and therefore are more likely to pull off a trade.

I have listed 6 players below and which teams we should look out if they become available

Jrue Holiday - I feel like he would fit the Lakers perfectly but I cant see the Pels making another trade with the Lakers. The Clippers could look to trade some depth to form a formidable starting 5. They could potentially trade Lou Will/Pat Bev along with pieces to make the deal work.

Denver could be a dark horse to make a trade to improve their roster with maybe Gary Harris going to NOLA as he fits in with the rough age of their team

Teams to look out for: Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Clippers

Kevin Love - Kevin Love still has some value but I feel he is overpaid, especially for a team with championship aspirations. Similar to Jrue Holiday, I'm not sure that team will want his contract if he is only going to be the 3rd/4th option

Teams to look out for: Denver Nuggets, Portland Trailblazers

CJ McCollum - The Blazers started the season poorly and the 8th seed looks like their ceiling this season, I'm sure they believe they can beat anyone and they might be wishing for Denver to grab the 1st seed from the Lakers. Adding Melo has been a pretty good move but he doesn't take them up a level. I think Dame and CJ reached their peak last season regarding team success and it is time for a change.

Teams to look out for: Philadelphia 76ers, Denver Nuggets

Bogdan Bogdanovic - This is a bit of a backwards trade in the sense that the contending Lakers seem to be shopping Kuzma. BB would fit most teams and the Lakers need an efficient scorer off the bench.

Teams to look out for: Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers

Marcus Morris - As one of 900 Power Forwards on the NY Knicks roster, I think Marcus Morris will definitely attract attention from a lot of teams. He is shooting the ball really well this year; 47% from 3 on a career high 6 attempt per game, career high in stocks and recently scored a career high 38 v LAC

Teams to look out for: Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets,

D'Angelo Russell - With the Warriors having no chance to make the playoffs, they could deal D'Lo to gear up for next season with the splash brothers back healthy.

Everyone knows that KAT, Booker and D'Lo have discussed teaming up but I'm wondering how feasible this is, and more importantly; are NBA teams prepared to put this in place. I can see Minnesota trying to trade for D'Lo and either Wiggins or a combination of RoCo and Dieng could move to Golden State to make this work.

Team to look out for: Minnesota Timberwolves
