Under the radar trades we need to see happen!

We are quickly approaching the trade deadline and at this point in the season most teams know whether they are buyers or sellers. The teams looking to solidify a playoff spot or compete for one will be buyers as they look to add more quality to their respective rosters while the teams with no hope of a playoff spot are likely to be sellers and go into all out tank mode.

Some of the worst teams in the NBA have players on the trade block who I feel could contribute to a playoff team. The Conley/Gasol era is clearly over in Memphis and I can see both these players getting moved to a team that will look to go deep into the postseason.

Mike Conley: I can see Mike Conley landing in Detroit for Reggie Jackson and Jon Leuer. The would be a clear upgrade for Detroit as Conley offers more in terms of scoring, assisting and shooting. It would also give Blake Griffin some rest as he won't be asked to create as much. I believe this would help push Detroit into the lower half of the playoffs.

Marc Gasol: Another Gasol for Gasol trade but this time Marc Gasol is the centrepiece. Marc Gasol for Pau Gasol and Marco Belinelli makes sense to me. Spurs upgrade the C position while not losing too much. They become a more well rounded team with a frontcourt of LA and Marc while Rudy Gay could come off the bench and be the main man for the 2nd unit.

Taurean Prince: Prince could be a good contributor for a playoff team and I would like to see him end up at the Rockets. Marquese Chriss has not worked out for Houston so it's time to let him go, pair him with a 1st round pick and I can see this deal being accepted. Prince shoots quite well and is a good young, athletic player. He would be a good pick up for the Rockets and James Harden and CP3 could make him look great.

Bobby Portis: With Chicago in tank mode, Portis is almost playing too well. I can see him playing very well for a deep playoff team. I'd like to see OKC or Portland pick him up to take some frontcourt minutes. I'd expect a pick and a expiring contract to do the job.
